To Serve and Connect Society of Canada is on a mission to build a vibrant, supportive community for first responders and their families. We provide a safe space for connection, resources, and engagement opportunities. Our vision is to empower first responders and their loved ones to thrive under the unique demands of their roles while living meaningful, fulfilling lives.
🌟 Mark your calendar! The To Serve and Connect Weekend Retreat for First Responder Spouses 2025 is happening May 2-4, 2025.
This incredible weekend is designed exclusively for you—the unsung heroes who navigate the unique and challenging lifestyle of supporting first responders. You'll connect with others who truly understand your journey, step outside your comfort zone, and build resilience in an environment that celebrates and supports you.
We’ve lined up inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, fun activities, and plenty of time to unwind and recharge. Whether you're sharing stories, learning practical tools, or simply enjoying a moment to relax, this retreat is all about prioritizing you.
Why it matters: Taking care of yourself doesn’t just benefit you—it positively impacts your family, your relationships, and every part of your life. Let’s face it, this life isn’t always easy. Feelings of loneliness, taking on the role of the “default parent,” juggling household responsibilities, and being the go-to mental health supporter can feel overwhelming.
As a community, we’ve made strides in supporting first responders during their toughest moments. Now, it’s time to ensure their partners and families receive the same care and understanding. This retreat is your chance to connect, learn, and grow alongside others who face the same challenges—and to remind yourself just how strong and capable you truly are.
We can’t wait to see you there! ❤️

There is a need to serve the individuals that support our First Responders. First Responder Spouses navigate a unique lifestyle.
If you are one - you know exactly what this means. Finding a connection with others who are faced with the same challenges is the foundation of being human. To Serve and Connect encourages a safe place to learn, share resources, and laugh. A sense of humour is the key to creating the best life as a First Responder Family!
At To Serve and Connect Society Canada, we are dedicated to working with and creating a safe place for First Responders and First Responder Spouses to fall. Our members and volunteers provide leadership and support in many ways such as emotional support, service and aid, advice, suggestions, information and self-evaluation.
With the main focus on Connection, Education, and Community, you will find a place to retreat, learn tools and strategies to provide support to your First Responder and your Family.
There's much to see here. Workshops, Book Club, Support, Education and Access to Resources.
We welcome you to join our To Serve and Connect Email Newsletter! Within this monthly newsletter, you will hear about events, resources, and additional information for that upcoming month. This is a great opportunity to never miss out on anything that is happening within the To Serve and Connect Community
